The song playing loud in my head,
It's all I can hear
as I watch you walk away;
I watch my only chance walk away,
I'm numb as I watch my hope walk away,
I raised my hopes,
And they brought me down,
The song playing loud in my head,
It's all I can hear,
Until suddenly the words ring in the chaos,
'Your heart is lost now,
Your trust is gone'
And I know it's true,
For you were just another person I trusted
that let me down.
