Trump/Pence 2024 Poem by Christopher Cariad

Trump/Pence 2024

There's a teddy bear dangling from an old metal fence.
A four year old pulling a worn red
and rust wagon down the sidewalk.
Past a tal oak tree,
Naked from the leaves of summer.
An entire street covered in a milky fog.
Dried blood and decomposing bodies,
lay motionless in the houses surrounding.
A sign at the end of the street,
Reading "TRUMP/PENCE 2024; America is Great Again, Lets make her the Greatest."
The world lay silent,
Sun and Moon where no more,
and Peace, sweet peace,
consumed.
