True Appearance Poem by Kezia Kezia

True Appearance

When I looked into the mirror
I told
Don't be so obedient
Don't try to please me
By showing whatever I want to see
Don't show my fabricated face
Don't rupture my faith,
Be bold and hold firm ground
Don't behave like kind human being
I can bear the most bitter taste of truth
I will not smash you
Even if you show my ugliest face
Though I shall be highly grateful
Finally I have seen my true appearance
