A treasury of the conscience of humankind:
Masterworks that vividly reveal the signs,
And the blazing dreams and visions, of those who work
In the kingdoms of the mind. Museums don't shirk
From their unique vocation of helping us find
So much precious beauty that will last for all time,
Rare antiquities: collected, protected,
Shared and cherished commonly just like vital bread.
Never would I have thought up that superb phrase 'In the kingdoms of your mind.' Which just adds a touch of class to your poem Dominic. A stunning poem I can most certainly relate to. And yet another closing end line that's the icing on the poetry cake.10++ and added to my favs for an intellectually stimulating and enjoyable reread. Thank you Dominic for sharing and I wish you well.

Thanks Shaun, since you work in museum, that is praise indeed! I really miss not being able to visit art galleries and musems, hopefully things will change, sooer rather than later,
