Wonderful tribute to Diego Maradona Suresh! In my opinion, Maradona, notwithstanding his many flaws, was the greatest footballer I have ever seen. He almost single - handedly (no pun intendedt) won the world cup for Argentina back in 1986. People here in the U.K have still not forgiven him for THAT goal against England. However, his second goal was pure genius and I do believe that Argentina would have won the game anyway.

Great tribute to a great sporting icon whose name became a synonym of football in his lifetime. Skillful players will come to play but the magic he had with the ball and the thrall with people and political leaders in all parts of the world will never have a parallel.
