Chloe, reading this poem was a joy- the imagery(sp?) and wording in everything was a joy. The emotion shift was apparant, and apparant in me as I read it. I do wish the ending had been different, I must admit. I think you should have ended with and they screamed(the lights from your windows) 'you can have this. You can have all of this.' but, like I said, it was a joy regardless.: -)
