Trespassers Are Now Owners

Rating: 5.0

I recently went to my old home
The trespasser has nearly become owner
he has renovated the house
to his choice
what can I do

I only visit once in a way
and tears fall, what can I say!

But a mango tree
I planted years ago
now bears fruit
he eats all

This is life
we must accept

all is not silver nor gold
at times memories become cold
better to leave them
ere they become like black coal

Just smile and laugh away
have a mango if the trespasser says
elseout you go
locallawyer told him so

Thank you Poet for this wonderful poem in response to my poem HOUSE. Yes, change is the way of life.We can not hold on to the old things for ever.Let the old give way to something new.
