Trees Yield To Autumnal Glow Poem by Deanna Samuels

Trees Yield To Autumnal Glow

Rating: 5.0

Slipping towards mid-October,
trees have finally yielded to autumnal glows.
Gone are the fresh bright verdant greens,
now replaced by shady dark emerald
and tinged with full rusty fronds
while some are already dressed in
bright orange and deep reds.

The countryside is turning
to its next season's attire,
a glorious autumnal glow.
