Tree, Lake-Leant Poem by james watkin

Tree, Lake-Leant

Luckier than you
From self, anyway
Beauty's depths, 'neath facial scum's
Layer who does hide

This, for eyeless tree!
Lake-leant, yet all day
Through no sun-bright mirroring
Shows green with self-pride.
