Tree Bones Poem by Tony Sandy

Tree Bones

The bones of trees - skeletal hands grasping for the sky;
the undead reaching from below the ground,
for the life they left behind at Winter's cold embrace
now turn green flesh at the call of Spring

Tree Bones
POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I saw a bunch of leafless trees when out walking one winter's morning. Then I thought of Spring's hope and renewal
