geeta, it's interesting to read this today as this morning i read again psalm 92 which compares people who respect God to palm and cedar trees. and how often i've thought that trees with uplifted branches resemble people praising. long have we associated trees with people and spirits. it's easy to see our kinship. you might like my poem " cottonwoods of corrales." -glen
