Well, if you are resting at the bottom of the sea, then there would be treasure down there. But what an awesome theft of poetic talent to drift away on ocean currents. As for other meanings one can find in this poem, well, at my age heart palpitations are scary!
Thanks Susan, no hidden meanings, I actually was getting ready to cut up some abalone shells to get mother of pearl for an inlay on my guitar, and I got to thinking of how a pearl winds up on as a necklace on a deserving woman of course, my poems are all clean and always will be, thank you for your comment my friend.
