Treasured Moments Poem by Rebecca Navarre

Treasured Moments

Rating: 5.0

There's an empty photo album
on the floor, but one page at a time
I'll fill and restore. Memories with
joy, memories with pain. Days of
sunshine, days of rain. Faces of love,
faces that change. Yet, deep sentiments
just the same. Pages turn through out
the years. But the heart in life, the heart
of all remains, so dear.

There is so much beauty in this poem! There is nothing like looking through sheaves of old pictures of merry times spent by family in days long past!

Rebecca, the treasure is this beautifully expressed poem. It motivates me to start filling up those empty photo albums that have been sitting around collecting dust. I love your use of antithesis throughout your poem!

Heart is the best page to write down love sentiments. Nice work

I have many of those photo albums. And even though all those pictures are saved in some cloud, it's always nice on occasion to flip through those pages. You've captured that nostalgia perfectly in this poem, Rebecca.
