Trapped Poem by Tom Allport

Trapped

As the fire spread
Devouring all above
At Grenfell Tower
No one understood
Why no alarm bell rang
Why no extinguisher's fired
Why people were trapped
In their homes on fire.

These are the deaths that stir the ire of the public. Avoidable deaths. People who could have lived had there been effective smoke alarms and sprinkling systems and workable exits. A worthy topic
