A wonderful poem-when we see the face of nature and feel her blessing on love...we have a memory whiches causes a longing! Really great poetry.

Thank you so very much Bill! You are very kind and your words give me encouragement - I admire much of your poetry...must apologize for too frequent absences-illness has kept me away.

Hmmmmmmm.... there's a deliciousness about this poem, Theo. The colors, the warmth of words, the longing.... they weave a dreamy texture to this poem.... water flowing gently the sounds of mandolins in the air... And me with purple ribbon's in my hair. a glorious summer of pure sunshine sweet birds of song a perfect day of romance Bathed in loves warmest of touch... Nestled here, all cozy, but missing you so much. Set in an Indian summer for just we two - - - -those so well chosen words and phrases embraced the reader with such soft memories of love. well done, Theo. 10++++++++++++++++++++++++++
