When you smile I remember the moon; My heart leaps up From the darkness To the moonlit skies. Beautiful poetic lines from your heart dear poet Parameswaran Nair. Thank you very much. tony
Love and beauty are transient But they are the truths too. Good poem
Poetic beauty at its best, and the hope turning to melancholy of loneliness at the end. Lovely, dear poet
Thank you dear Sir, I am delighted to read your comments that give me energy and confidence
Love, beauty and even happiness and sadness are just temporary. Love may fade on certain circumstances. Physical beauty may wither. Happiness and sadness may come and go depending on our state of mind. On the other hand, I concur with great Poetess Valsa 's comments that if we have faith in God, we feel we are in heaven. And contentment is felt. A wonderful poem well conveyed and crafted.
Thank you very much Rose Mary. If the presence of God is felt with us we feel a kind of ecstacy and in case of its fading we feel dejected and neglected
When you smile I remember the moon; My heart leaps up From the darkness To the moonlit skies - - - - - - - - - - - When fear is lurking in every corner of earth in the name of 'corona virus', your poem gives so relief to heart.Thank you for sharing this excellent poem.
Thank you very much dear poetess. God Almighty has something in his schedule for us. Let us wait and see and hope for the best
When we feel the presence of God, it is heaven! We feel the sprightliness and cheer of spring at the very thought of Him. But once we focus on the trivialities of life and stay aloof from the Almighty, we feel that we are alone and we plunge into a state of loneliness and dark gloom! A poem with deep spiritual undertones.
Thank you dear poetess Valsa George. Presence of God Almighty is festive and absence dull. When we disengage from our trivialities we again look for Him. On realising the strength of His presence is feeble we certainly feel diregarded
This is beautiful with some spiritual beauty that is not so transient. Though for a devotee seperation from God is as painful as being seperated from transient love and beauty.
Thank you Savitaji. When we devote everything to Gid and live in peace and if found that He is not with us we so feel desperate that we seek total darkness of solitude
Everything changes. We live in a transitory world. Both joy and sorrow are two sides of a coin. The moment we realise our impermanence, we are at peace with ourselves even in darkness and in loneliness. As always, a beautiful yet meaningful poem.......10
Thank you very much Geeta Menon. It's pleasant to think that we are not alone in our journey. But the moment we realise the truth against our belief we naturally think of the futility of our existence and wish for a burial in darkness
A marvelous poem with crystalline images. The intricacies of life is well depicted and expressed.
