All music has the power to take us into altered states of consciousness. Daniel, you have brilliantly illustrated this with this magnificent poem. Your last 6 lines are a perfect description of the meditative state. If only more people would give themselves half a chance to explore this inner world. Hey, Daniel! Once again I intended to explore your earlier postings, saw the new ones, and read this. Not knowing the music I couldn't enter into this fully. I did enjoy, however, the descriptions of small sounds in the last seven lines of the first stanza. Glen
