Train Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Train

Rating: 5.0

Don't let me drown in the sea of my past
Unmask me to expose the scars
That I am ashamed of
Cast out my powers of kindness
And let my anger spill over
I fed up waiting for that train to depart
But I am too buried with my sins
That have become a ball and chain
As my casket is put on the train
Heaven is not waiting

A very thought provoking poem. Short and to the point and very nicely crafted. A beautiful share. Loved it.
