Traffic Traffic Traffic Jams Poem by Terence George Craddock

Traffic Traffic Traffic Jams

Rating: 5.0

to live so far from work
separated by heavy rush hour traffic
every night going home

is not wise

but economics
plays a part in locations
nor is it so easy

to move to suitable
houses in suitable locations
with budget options

there is a saying
in Jakarta Indonesia
constant proven

in daily
getting to work
to home

traffic traffic traffic jams

'a happy man lives
in 5 minutes walking distance
time from his work'

it solves many problems

'a happy man lives in 5 minutes walking distance time from his work'.... //.... This Indonesian saying reflects the simple living and lifestyles of people of the yore. Things have changed a lot during the last century and a half. Large scale migration of work force, means of transportation, industrialization, education and a global outlook have brought a sea change everywhere. Thanks.

Yeah true. The traffic jam is not so much caused by distance as by indisciplined of our so called 'kombi drivers" . They are obnoxious ill disciplined private public transporters competing to maximise profit disregarding all rules. Then again i enjoy the camaraderie in the chaos and....guess what...the profanity. We get to blasphem call each names and generally insult the govt. Its fun.
