Toys Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Toys

Rating: 5.0

I grant you a release
A release from our love
For you don't want it to survive
You, and yr friends has curse me
I tried to ignore it
Thinking you don't mean it
But when I saw her on yr arm
I knew it was true
I am nothing but a plaything
My emotions were just toys
But toys break, get discarded
And they don't die of shame
I shall grant you a release
May you be happy now
For later, the tide will turn
