Tourism Poem by Simon Gitonga

Tourism

Rating: 5.0

Tourism like a sweet rhythm,
Breathtaking when you take a day off,
Retire to the parks and later to bed,
To extend the beauty in thy dreams.

Those abroad welcome on board,
To the serenity and love of nature,
I beseech you; planes to board,
See what moves others to tears of joy.

The inhabitants it's a place to stay,
See the elephant and the rabbits,
And for the monkeys give them a hug,
Carry a morsel to the birds of the air.

The cool breeze from the shores,
Along the banks of Indian Ocean,
Walk majestically putting on the shawls,
Allow all the burdens to be swayed away.

Visit the castles, old and new
Peruse the books of history, read the story
Visit the monuments for a moment
Make life beautiful like a comet.

The serene atmosphere at the peaks,
Allow it caress the mind and the heart,
Gain momentum when in the hikes,
Shun the thoughts that can lure it.

Observe the graceful expansion of lakes,
Take a boat and float upon the waters,
Add memories at the middle of the sea,
Count the jumps of the fish and the hippos
