They say tough times don't last, Yet tough souls persist. Wrestling with this adage for days on end, As trials claim the brightest parts of our existence.
'If the worst can happen to you, ain't it common sense for us to believe the lie we chose to project? I mean we cheer for the cinematic act maybe because the truth is something you wouldn't want to admit.
What good is a smile?
When memories of your trauma may cause you to weep? Especially when pain runs so deep, we realize tough times don't just pass, they seep.
