Tragic romance... The two seem almost synonyms. This is great storytelling. The flow is good, the rhymes aren't forced. It reads with a sing-song kind of cadence. Best of all the rhymes don't ever detract from the meaning or feel of the narrative, but rather strengthens it. Great work
Written as a true romantic and someone who has had love bite him at least once
Beautiful story but with a very tragic ending! You have narrated the story in a lucid style, with soft rhyme and pleasant rhythm. One can go an reading the poem. I really do wish the fair lady's destiny is changed! Ayman, please continue the story and end it happily! This reminds me of the story of Shakuntala who was swept off her feet by King Dushyanta. She too was forgotten by the King. But their love child - Bharat grew up to become a famed Warrior and eventually the King of Bharata Rajya. Fortunately, the story had a happy ending.
