Touched Poem by Cheryl Griffith

Touched

Rating: 3.8

Who are you to stroll into my life
With such boldness and audacity
Claiming with authority
That I am yours and this is destiny?

How is it your words
Are able to move me beyond words
and touch without touching
The very consciousness that makes me woman?

The commanding character of the hero touches the lady sans his touching her and makes her feel as a woman by consciousness!

The double use of 'words' does not work for me. Maybe change to... How is it your rhetoric, Is able to move me beyond words

Through this small poem, you have treated the delicate subject of a passionate love rather beautifully which is echoed in the following words: (words) ..... touch without touching / The very consciousness that makes me woman?
