Tortuous Toil (Part 1) Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

Tortuous Toil (Part 1)

Rating: 5.0

Sunrise to sunset
Daily for years
Toil, toil, tortuous toil
Rest elusive
Destination unknown
My eyes sight my back
Mouth kiss the neck
And heels meet the toes

Day in, day out
Toil, tortuous toil
Success out of sight
Destination uncertain
Blind walker
No guiding staff.

Soil, oil, toil! Not to spoil the truth; Hardships! ! Success out of sight. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
