Storm winds hit like an atom bomb
Consuming the helpless by their wrath.
The waters of the sky fell forth
Flooding everything in their path.
Our love of the brave was seen by man
While rescue crews were helping others.
They risked their life and laid it on the line
To save God's sisters and brothers.
Tears are the raindrops of the soul
Shed by all who cry.
Though the eyes are wet and swollen
With time and patience, they dry.
