And, the title Torn Tassle is a very apt metaphor. Love is worth nothing if it turns into just a tassle which could come between us and our goal, and needs to be torn away, deliberately.

Hi Soumita, A very poignant and serious poem about the conflict between the bond of love and the desire to succeed in one's career/life. It is about how one has to tear away a constricting bond to become free from the clutches of emotions. Love, of course, is the natural instinct which takes the world forward. That is why it comes naturally to every being (for other species, it could be just sex) . But world has taken quantum leaps only when intelligence and craving for excellence took over emotions. So, every human being is entitled to his/her space to do what he/she loves and succeed in it. A poem of deep conviction. An exquisite poem. I just added to MyFav poems, so I could come back for a re. And a hearty 100+++
