Torn Between Two Worlds Poem by April Humason

Torn Between Two Worlds

My body wavers from you, yet my heart stays true,
In this dance of emotions, I'm torn in two.
My eyes wander, seeking something new,
While my lips long for the taste of you.

Restless mind, sleepless nights, I'm lost in thought,
Dreaming of moments with you, I've sought.
Tongue-tied by your sweetness, my words caught,
Yearning for more, with every memory I've brought.

Amidst the noise, my ears hear your name,
Feelings shuffled, emotions aflame.
My soul aches, caught in this painful game,
Yet my love for you, forever the same.

Broken pieces, my heart's lament,
My words, my solace, to you they're sent.
In this intricate dance of love, I'm spent,
But for you, my dear, my heart's content.

Conflicted within, torn between two worlds,
A love so strong, it unfurls.
Caught between the seas and skies, swirled,
In the realm of emotions, I'm a wanderer unfurled.
