There are some poets on this site but not all, who are obsessed.
Obsessed with gathering points.
Obsessed with the Top 500 Poets List.
Obsessed with themselves.
And their hugely inflated poetry ego's.
Obsessed with harping on forever about their standing,
And of others on said List.
God! Give it a rest.
For pity's sake.
These poets with alleged university degree's,
These poets who harp on about God and helping and caring for others,
These poets who betray every word and principle,
They say they stand for.
These poets who massage their own stats.
These poets who rate their own poems! !
These Goody Two Shoes poets,
Are nothing of the kind.
They need to get a life.
And act like a responsible adult.
A grown up that is.
And not like a spoilt points obsessed child.
ANYONE can make that list over time, ANYONE,
By not even submitting a poem.
ANYONE can build huge points up by endless, endless comments alone.
Are they here for the poetry?
Or for their own narcissistic points gathering to stay on this List.
So they can chorus how great they truly are and belong on this List.
For some an egomaniac's List.
Which are you?
