A good wake up call. He world seems to move in the wrong direction. And yet if we look a few inches beyond the news, I can see so much love and goodness in the world around me. Somehow baring the suppressed racist feelings of the extreme right wingers is something that was necessary to wake the wiser people up and not just assume that all racism and bigotry was shrinking fast. We need leaders like ML King, Jr, like Ghandi, like Albert Schweizer, more than ever. I hope your call in the notes about he poem comes to be a reality. No matter what, let us keep our love and kindness up. Somehow we should not give in to the fear mongering of wicked leaders and to the violence perpetrated by 0.0001 % of the population. This poem is touching the hearts of the readers and it did provoke so many thoughts in my mind.
