Beautiful love poem. It seems like a push and pull affair Sienna. At the same time you have made up your mind and even though there is still some feeling there is no going back. You now know who you are.Your heart was broken your trust decreases and it will take a long time to pick up the pieces. Full marks Sienna

Interesting contrast here between the words expressed and the emotions experienced. You have no power over me, yet your nearness renders me powerless to control my reaction to your presence. A very nice consideration of the fragility of the human heart. How fickle we truly are.

A relationship needs to be taken care of by both the parties and more so when it stems from a love affair. It is better to secure it with trust rather than to squander it by being selfish. Thanks. You lead me on and broke my heart Why now do you appear? When I am happy without you here

Remained me of Dolly Parton's song 🎶 'It's too late'. An insightful love poem embellished in poetic rhyme and rhythm. Beautiful poem. Thanks for sharing Sienna and do remain blessed.
