TONIGHT THE DARK, comes with skepticism, doubt, distrust....... TONIGHT the pain touches incredulity and scoffing TONIGHT comes for an inclination to believe that we are motivated purely by self-interest...........////

Wowwww way to go, indeed some types of love ve ESP premarital daying love is really all that negative way that you creatively portray in words so marvellously so poetically I find it impressive. All the premarital love ve I have seen is indeed delusional and no crown or star of life yes. Kudos for a fabulous poem, it's ok to be cynical sometimes. Pls pleez do comment/ review my newest poem too titled, " The Hajj pilgrimage "

This poem titled 'Tonight I Won't Write' is a brilliant poem on cynicism and love having touching expression and incisive collocation. How cynical mood comes from love is so astutely portrayed by you. Here it may be cited....Tonight I will perhaps write of love /as a night prowler / with a blood-dripping mouth and / teeth dug into the trembling flesh / Or better still let me leave it alone. Thank you dear madam for sharing this gem.10

The cynical bitter mood of this is certainly different for you but you made it real because you have imagination and talent and the poetic talent to explore different aspects of life. 10+++++++++++++++++++++

Poetic " cynicism" that is biting. Reminds me of the sharp pen of Dorothy Parker: So let a love beat over me again, Loosing its million desperate breakers wide; Sudden and terrible to rise and wane; Roaring the heavens apart; a reckless tide That casts upon the heart, as it recedes, Splinters and spars and dripping salty weeds - from Fair Weather

Tonight I won't write about love....Narud's tone has really made this poem Narudian! Presentation of love in the cynical mood has a different taste...you have successfully done it. My favorite line: " I won't write about love as a gust of Zephyr" A wonderful piece of poetry! I admire your poetry! Keep it up!
