Tonight, I am thinking about you, my dear rose
I have tears in my eyes. My heart is morose
It is raining. I remember the sweet laughters
And the games that we used to play as lovers.
Oh! It is sad and sickening when we're far away
From each other. The sky is harsh, heavy and gray
The singing birds stay away from the jackfruit tree
Outside is damp, and the dogs are barking lavishly.
I'll miss you tremendously my love all night long
It is a fact that I will not sleep without your song
Without the aroma of your fresh breath on my face
And without the warmth of your soul in my space.
I am not well at all because you're far away from me
My night is uneventful, and I am absolutely unhappy
It is hell at home without you. The roosters don't sing
It's winter in May, and the flowers quietly quit blooming.
