Your last stanza is poignant because you ask to be rescued and taken from the world. In King Lear one of the few good characters in that bleak play prays for heavenly spirits to come and intervene because we are self destructive: HUMANITY MUST PERFORCE PREY ON ITSELF /.LIKE MONSTERS OF THE DEEP. You and the Bard agree humanity can't save itself. Your poem as the title reveals is about seeing the future collapse already in the present

Nice poem on self realization and Hoping for God to come and take them away from this earth forever, serenity taking us all together into the secrets of tomorrow's future today. Nicely written poem...10
