Side by side with brothers of arms, standing on tombstones and ashes.

Interesting. I see that the repetition of the phrase of tombstones and ashes is purposeful, but I don't necessarily like it. Without asymmetrical rhymes and the line used so frequently, there is not much substance to the poem.
