Together With Death Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

Together With Death

Together With Death

And life said this is you're last refuge, belly flattened on the table,
Dusts administered by the pastors,

The only linkage you can claimed from this umbilical cord,

The subterfuge that is this December rain,
The only truth in its darker shades,
Fifty shades more sinister,

And life was proclaimed
Unherald melodies from the stars,

The only regret that can hold this sap,
The moistures of the body,

To containevaporations from the heat that burns the pan,
And create this poisonous dounots from the whodunnit sky,

And life said how can you love the demons,
Exorcized Christ and love Satan,
The only throne recognized and live for,
Together,
