Together, United And Apart Poem by Hebert Logerie

This is a time of crisis
The new coronavirus
Is deadly and dangerous
Please wash our hands
And stay connected with our friends
Our family members
Our elders
And neighbors
We all need to be generous
No high fives, no handshakes
No accolades, no touchdowns, no hugs
We need to support each other
And pray now for a better future
Many people are sick and hospitalized
Ladies and gentlemen, we've realized
That we are all vulnerable
No human being is invincible
We are in this together
We need to help each other
We're together, united and apart
Let's all do our parts with all our heart.
