We were taking our baby steps
We felt something but didn't understand the magnitude
Now we've learnt to walk
And together have discovered a treasure trove of love
Love in all its greatness
And all its glory
I know now that true love exists
And am grateful to have experienced it
Although I wonder what it would be like to share it
In reality rather than virtually
Truly to be together each waking day
And each restful night
