Today my mother died

Sadness from the loss of a loved one is truly great. Time heals wounds, but some wounds leave scars that will never fade. Good job with the poem, and I wish you well during troublous times. let your grief be an inspiration.

To lose a loved one is something you can't get over simple. When put into words, it's the healing power of words and rhyme that are bound to get the pain off of your heart some. I really enjoyed this one and let me tell you what, you're nothing short of a great female poet and I ain't kidding. Love, Jack

This is a truly honest poem in that you now recognize your failure to be perfect. Your mother would have known that you were a certain age and would have understood you. A beautiful expressive poem. Karin Anderson

the emotion showed is naive, true, unartificial. a wonderful write for your age. i appreciate your talents. shan

I love the calm message and emotion showed throughout the poem. The detail is slightly lacking (i wanted more) but the underlying theme is so wonderful and nicely laid that i wouldnt change a thing. The title is powerful, as is the message that your mother died and left not a sign of worry or stress for you, the ultimate sign of a wonderful mother. Very heart warming.
