Today Poem by Shaun Cronick

Today

Rating: 5.0

Today we sadly closed our museum,
The place where we work and dwell.
In the interests of all public safety,
Because of that damn bug from hell.

And I'm popping in early tomorrow,
For all staff have a few things to do.
And today was like a grim ghost town,
But our spirits keep shining through.

Everybody is called to sacrifice in the interest of public safety.A noble act to do. In our own little way we can contribute to the prevention of this menace. A great poem well crafted. Liked the closure line. Very inspiring.10+++

Yeah you're right Rose Marie. Absolutely spot on, it's all about sacrifice. Thanks for your kind comment and if it helps I just put a poem up called... Chloroquine And Other Anti Covid-19 Drugs. A little list of hope for everyone. Take care and the loved ones around you Rose Marie.
