I feel you are trying to put so many feelings into this poem, but that is difficult to do. If you use your feelings to describe a situation and give readers a ringside view, maybe they can share the feelings of anguish and joy. I like the poems of Mary Oliver, because they tell by showing.
In the face of all difficulty it is important to do what you have expressed in the last line of the second stanza, But my lips may praise the Lord though it is difficult. As long as we do this we will succeed by His grace.
