Tobacco (Senryu) Comments

I don't agree with the term unemployed...there are employees at all level who chew and spit to taint this land...like coffee addicts chewing is a stimulant to those people....a good subject opend for necessary devaluation....congrats

Tobacco to some extent is a tranquilizer, apart from being highly harmful. Persons engaged in tension filled jobs/occupation somehow become addicts to tobacco and cannot come out of it. Gradually it leads to all problems. Ofcourse as you rightly said, it is a curse to the society at large. An awakening poem.

Nightmare of the family and the people around them as they end up being passive smokers. The administration gets lot of revenue from it. But the colorful form which ends up splashed all over the road is something they might be worried about. In the present days smoking is banned in public places, and even in present buildings as the smoke detector alarm will result in safety water spray.

Once again you have written a very expressive and flawless senryu poem, Sandra. Poems featuring tobacco or smoking are rare these days and I think what you said about tobacco use was quite apt. Always a pleasure to read your work. Carl.
