Seems as though censorship is on a lot of people's minds lately. Nothing stifles creativity like being told to shut up and don't be yourself. It has no place in the creative pursuits!

The second piece ice read about censorship today. First was Profanity by Jeff Taylor, a new member (and personal friend) . I referred him to Pamela's (who coincidentally enough saw your poem and commented) poem Cutting Curtains which is an incredible piece on censorship as well. It is frustrating to have your work taken of the site for reasons such as vulgarity or profanity... They are parts of life, and incredibly relevant in so many situations. ... I could go on complaining about the guidelines for censorship but I'll spare you and get to the point of the matter; good poem Grace. Meaningful and necessary.

Well said. You have every right to express yourself. I hate censorship. We all have the choice to read or not read another's work.
