To The Dogwood He Came Poem by Evelyn Judy Buehler

To The Dogwood He Came

Rating: 5.0

Down hot sunny lane came pink robin,
With a beautiful song in his heart!
He perched on a dogwood in my garden,
A moment of rapture, soon to depart.

Blooming days in my garden of delight.
The afternoon dragged waiting for him;
And he came singing long before night,
Like a rainbow's appearance on a whim!

So well penned the essence of wait and the happiness that is donned on seeing your dream come true even for a fraction of second. This is beautiful. Into my favourite.
