To S.D. (On Hearing Of Her Indisposition) Poem by james watkin

To S.D. (On Hearing Of Her Indisposition)

Catcalls to confounderers of
Butterflies not out of their teens:
Windy devils who frivolous play
And with whose circuits toy.

Sour grapes for abashers of
Buttercups not out of their teens:
Malevolent gnomes who titter sway
And in wrenching steal a joy.
