It's beautiful being able to read
For it'll allow, your own life to lead
Before greats, your case, then you can plead
And help those in need

It's of great benefit to read
Then you can understand the evils of greed
Even how, in academia, it's so reared its gory breed
Instead of honour, in their corridors, dishonour ‘s spread

It's honorable to read
For knowledge comes when you bid
With a moral barometer, it comes, unlike cupid
Therefore feed your mind with more book n' ne'er be stupid.

It's wonderful being able to gather many reads
As long as one does not, along the way, pick many creeds
And expose the intellect to evil deeds
Despite all that, feed the mind with more book n' clear the weeds
