To all of my friends
The old with the new
Elderly and young
At Poem Hunter
You're like family
Brothers and sisters
Not playing some sports
But playing with words
Creating poems
That bring some tears
Of laughter and pain
On a cloudy day
You let sunshine in
You encourage me
To test my limits
Go beyond comfort
Write in new styles
Stretch mine idle mind
And not vegetate
In retirement
You are a second family
Sharing pain and sorrow with me
I give you mine empathy
Sharing laughter and joy with me
I give you lighter poetry
Sharing my pain and sorrow with you
You give me a brighter tomorrow
Sharing my laughter and joy with you
You bring out the comedy in me
You are my family...
And I thank God for you!
Beautifully penned with such sweet and noble words. Thank you Richard for this gem...10 + To my favourite

Absolutely! Poem Hunter is our Second Family. A family of Poets, where wer share our thoughts with joy.
Geeta, we are indeed very fortunate to have this Second Family. Tragically, some people don't even have one family.
Dear Richard, What a beautiful tribute to Poem Hunter.. Its marvellous. Poets from the world over, connect with each other and enjoy a beautiful comradeship.
It's such a great pleasure to connect with poets from all over the world. I always find it so very interesting and enjoyable to discover their cultures through their poetry.
And thank you for sharing this beautiful words. It is a privilege to counted as family and I share your sentiment.
I've met people with little or no family and friends. I've tried to console them. If only they could discover a resource like Poem Hunter...the quality of their lives would most definitely improve!
