No matter the obstacles thrown in our way,
The love that I feel for you won’t ever fade.
Through all that we face, the good times and the bad.;
Through all of the troubles we’ve had in our pasts.
The future is what I look forward to now.
With you by my side, we’ll defeat each dark cloud.
Though now we’re apart; Yes I know someday soon,
I’ll be in your arms, and my dreams will come true.
For when my eyes shut as I lay in my bed,
I see your face clear, and thoughts pass through my head.
What will it be like the first time we meet?
Will it surpass all my wildest dreams?
These feeling I feel I have not felt before.
You make be believe that I’m worth so much more.
And that is a gift I can never surpass.
But know that I love you, and know it will last.
Deep in your eyes I can see how you feel.
And my eyes water up cause I know the loves real.
Writing this now I can not help but cry.
Cause finally, finally you’re here in my life.
The soulmate I’ve prayed for, The man who could see,
Beyond what is outside to what’s underneath.
I never believed there was love that’s this strong.
But grateful I am that you’re proving me wrong.
I love all you are and that won’t ever change.
And I love how you say that you too feel the same.
You mean so much more than this poem can describe.
Each day I am grateful you’re here in my life.
