I hope Pinky comes back.
If not, do not be afraidof the sadness.
Every loss goes with sadness.
Sadness is normal, intrinsically human.
It is initially bitter but
in the end it takes a form full of grace and
changes in to gratefulness for the good times we had
Nothing is permanent.
(I think 'eternity' from William blake is a great poem for someone who encountered a loss. If you have time, please read it on this website and also my comment under the poem)
