Ever so Beautifully Heart Warming! ... Written of ever such thoughtful and beautiful heart! ..
His daughter wrote the last posting on his PH page. I'm going to send a message to his page to tell her about this poem. I hope she'll see it.
The world I live in is diminished by losing you...'the tone of this poem reminds me of Alfred Lord Tennyson's ''In Memroium'that depicted the loss of his best friend Arthur Hallam. A good friend comes to ones life as a gift! I can't interpret this poem in much better way!
Susan, this is the best tribute to another poet or PERSON that I have ever read. Few people have a way with words the way you do. I, too, miss Tom.
Thank you, my friend, for sharing this wonderful poem. I will visit right now his Poetry Page and read his poem; All Our Yesterdays. Your poem for Tom made me shed a tear. To my favorites.
What an outstanding tribute to Tom Billsborough! I have no words to praise your ability to express your gratitude, love and depth of understanding Tom's poetry.More power to you Susan Williams! Love, love and more love to you too!
I have known Tom for a brief period of time and the opportunity of knowing him was worth remembering. He can touch your heart and soul in an instant with his heartwarming words and utter humility.
A beautiful tribute to one of the great Poets of Poem Hunter and a brilliant introduction of his wonderful works. So deeply touching write. And tenderly and lovingly penned.
3) Tom's presence we would miss for ever. May his soul rest in peace.
2) Susie in her spontaneous style responded to his demise, in her inimitable manner. I remember how Tom had worked with Doctor Frosini on many of his projects for PUW. Thank you Susie.
This ode, this elegy on our dear poet Tom Billsborough is a touching tribute to the master poet. Tom was an asset to PoemHunter. His beautiful (often profound serious) poems shall continue to be.
